CLEARWIRE IS A RIPOFF!

Looking for a wireless way to connect to my new fiber-optic service from Verizon, I went to Best Buy. I'm not a new computer user, but not that acquainted with hubs, routers, bluetooth and other network hardware. I also didn't want to run extra fiber-optic cable from the network interface to the bedroom office in my home. So the sales guy at Best Buy sold me on Clear Wire and the $299.00 modem that would solve my problem for only one cent. It worked, but required manually rebuilding each and every e-mail address (of which I have many dozens). By the time I found that out, my seven day trial period had expired. (Most services give 30 to 90 days to decide.) They said to return the hardware in person to the ClearWire office, which I did. Later I discovered a $215.00 charge on the credit card I used for quiting early. The card company took the charge off when I challanged it but Clearwire got it put back on. Now I have to hassel with Keybank Card Service or eat the charge. I have receipts that show I bought a $299.00 modem (for whatever price) and they requested it back. Maybe I should just bill them $299.00 for it and give them $215.00 credit. This company has an online trail of similar complaints.
